Our History
Lewis N Clark® was founded in 1995 by a group of passionate designers and engineers. They shared a common vision – to make innovative gear that empowers people to comfortably explore the world.
The company name pays homage to the famous American explorers, Meriwether Lewis and William Clark. In 1804, Lewis and Clark led the first American expedition to cross what is now the western portion of the United States. Despite immense challenges, they successfully charted the territory and opened the door to western expansion.
We connect with this intrepid spirit of exploration, discovery, and perseverance. Our goal is to equip modern-day adventurers with useful tools for their own journeys.

Our design process starts with understanding customer needs. We carefully research common problems travelers face and identify opportunities for improvement.
